IPOPI held an EU PID Forum on the revision of the EU Crossborder Healthcare Directive and its potential impact for Curative Therapies (gene therapy, HSPC, etc).
This Forum IPOPI was placed under the patronage of 3 Members of the European Parliament: Mr Tomislav Sokol, Ms Radka Maxová and Mr Alex Agius Saliba.
Panelists and participants had the opportunity to discuss the status of curative treatments for PID patients and whether the EU Cross-Border Healthcare Directive is an opportunity to make these treatments more accessible to patients with PIDs.
