The Paediatric Rheumatology European Society (PRES), launched last year the first Knowledge Based Exam (KBE) with a global scope and open to pediatric rheumatology worldwide. This was a huge effort with the help of more than 50 Questions writers from around the world.

The first edition was a big success, with examinees coming from 14 different countries of Europe, America, Asia and Africa.

This year exam will be on Wednesday 11 September, after the Young Investigator Meeting (YIM) and just before the start of the PRES congress in Gothenburg (Sweden). The exam will be only on-site.

This is the first exam at an international level that certifies knowledge of Paediatric Rheumatology. Despite not having legal recognition in every country, the support of PRES strengthens its significance, especially in those countries without an official training programme.

You can find more information about this project and its Terms and Conditions by clicking here.

With the intention of supporting our community, especially the trainees and young professionals, PRES generously supports it with reduced fees (Trainee – PReS Member €100, Trainee – Non-Member €200, Pediatric Rheumatologist – PReS Member €200, Pediatric Rheumatologist – PReS Member €250).

If you are interested to enroll, please register here.

You are encouraged to spread the word about this initiative in your respective countries, especially among the youngest (trainees, fellows), but also among those already practicing pediatric rheumatologists, who would like to recertify their knowledge.
