Our patient association partner Familial Mediterranean Fever & Autoinflammatory Diseases (FMF & AID Global Association) aim to improve the care and quality of life for patients with autoinflammatory diseases through information, advocacy and support. They chose the month of September to shed the light on their work to the general public and raise awareness on the realities of the diagnosis journeys and challenges of patients living with a rare autoinflammatory disorder, with a focus on patient access to genetic testing.
Among ERN RITA, 24 hospital members have an expertise in autoinflammatory diseases. Their connection in the network aims to reduce inequalities faced by patients seeking to access diagnostic testing and innovative treatments
