Are you a patient or caregiver aged 18+? Are you a clinician with experience in autoimmune encephalitis? Then you can participate to this study!
The Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology at the University of Coimbra, with the involvement of Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António from Porto (RITA member), has launched a research project focusing on visual communication with the goal to create information about Autoimmune Encephalitis (AE) that helps patients and their families to better understand their medical condition.
The main objective for creating visual content is to effectively translate information that may be difficult to understand with technical/medical jargon, into visual information that can be more accessible to patients. The methodology of this project includes a patient-centred approach, working directly with patients, their families, and clinicians to get their input, and perspectives through the illustration design process (co-design).
