FMF & AID Global Association is an international patient organisation who is also a member of the RITA Patient Advocacy Group. They are pleased to announce the publication of their latest work in the Journal of Clinical Medicine, titled “Patient Experiences and Challenges in the Management of Autoinflammatory Diseases—Data from the International FMF & AID Global Association Survey”, which is a significant milestone for the autoinflammatory community!

This publication is the result of a collaborative effort between FMF & AID and several pediatric and adult physicians led by Dr. Jürgen Rech, Head of the Periodic Systemic Autoinflammatory Disease Center at the University Hospital Erlangen, Germany. We are thankful for the participation of the patient members who generously shared their experiences by answering the survey questions.

FMF&AID firmly believes in the power of patient advocacy for rare diseases. The insights and experiences shared within this survey highlight the struggles and hardships of the global autoinflammatory community. Patient voices matter, and this publication stands as a testament to the resilience and strength of our community.
