The concept of auto-antibody mediated central nervous system (CNS) disorders has emerged around twenty years ago. In this webinar, Dr. Romain Marignier will propose a focus on two paradigmatic auto-immune disorders targeting the glial cells of the CNS: neuromyelitis optica spectrum (NMOSD) with auto-antibody targeting aquaporin-4 of astrocytes, and Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein -antibody associated disease (MOGAD) where oligodendrocyte are targeted. The presentation will also include a talk from Dr. Margherita Nosadini who will bring a pediatric perspective and Souad Mazari who will represent the patient perspective.
